Celine Dion

 www.defimediacdn.info/.../celine-dion-london.jpg
I'd like to run away from you

But if I were to leave you I would die
I'd like to break the chains you put around me
And yet I'll never try
I like this line because it’s so true to so many people. You know you want that person around but you just hate the fact that have hurt you and so much more…. So as any normal person we take them back and believe that they not gone cheat and lie or even hurt them again.
Impossible to live with you
But I could never live without you
For whatever you do / For whatever you do
I never, never, never
Want to be in love with anyone but you
Another line it seems like she contradicting herself but to me knowing how she feels it is just her emotions making her fee like she hates the person but in reality she is so in love with this person, and cannot help that fact. In this song I realized that it relates to me in so many ways

I HATE YOU THEN I LOVE YOU (Celine Dion & Luciano Pavarotti)

prayerwarriors.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/ce..

I'd like to run away from you

But if I were to leave you I would die

I'd like to break the chains you put around me

And yet I'll never try

No matter what you do you drive me crazy

I'd rather be alone

But then I know my life would be so empty

As soon as you were gone

Impossible to live with you

But I could never live without you

For whatever you do / For whatever you do

I never, never, never

Want to be in love with anyone but you

You make me sad

You make me strong

You make me mad

You make me long for you / You make me long for you

You make me live

You make me die

You make me laugh

You make me cry for you / You make me cry for you

I hate you

Then I love you

Then I love you

Then I hate you

Then I love you more

For whatever you do

I never, never, never

Want to be in love with anyone but you

You treat me wrong

You treat me right

You let me be

You make me fight with you / I could never live without you

You make me high

You bring me down

You set me free

You hold me bound to you

I hate you

Then I love you

Then I love you

Then I hate you

Then I love you more / I love you more

For whatever you do / For whatever you do

I never, never, never

Want to be in love with anyone but you

I never, never, never

I never, never, never

I never, never, never

Want to be in love with anyone but you

But you

Finishing My paper!!!!!!

img.tfd.com/wn/43/678AB-finish-line.giffirmly agree with that statement.

As I finished this Rhetorical analysis paper I realized that I have accomplished something, a long task a long goal, a hardship. I wrote this paper on a topic that meant a lot to me, love and hate. This topic means so much to me because I have been in a lot of relationships to where I got hurt and I put myself into a person and they wasn’t really caring or was in the relationship for all of the wrong reasons. I realized that when I love I love hard and I have to stop putting my heart out so easily and wait until that person shows that they love me regardless of my faults and my attitude. In writing this paper I gave myself some closure to some hard feelings that I had towards some people, it made me realize that it is so easy to hate someone you but not forgive them. At the end of my paper I concluded that love prevails overall other emotions and I

Goals Toward Next Year

It is the end of my freshman year and I have accomplished a lot as an 18 year old woman I have dealt with so much this year such as server health issues, personal issues, grades and working towards basketball next year. I told myself that I had a good year this year now I’m telling myself that I’m going to have a great year next year. My goals toward next year are to work harder on my academics and push harder to finish my major on time so I can proceed to medical school. My next goal is to work hard as possible on the court next year including practice and personal work outs, my overall goal next year for basketball is help my team make it to the conference tournament and be the best player and best teammate can be. My third goal is to increase my GPA and keep it up and do not let distractions come my way where I cannot focus on these goals and I get off track. My sophomore year of college will be a great year.

Freshman Year

Coming into my freshman year of college I was expecting the worst experience ever. I felt college was going to be too hard and I wouldn’t be able to manage playing sports and academics, I felt like I was doomed from day one. The first week of school was a little stressful because as any other freshman I was trying to find my way around, get settled in class, and most of all getting use to my parents not being around. Then as weeks went by I got use to it, I realized that it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be but yet college was a challenge. I originally came to TLU to play basketball and I heard that the science department was awesome here as well. Even though I got red shirted this year I learned some things from that and that was a part of life to go through disappointments and to experience things to make you better. After I was read shirted I had more time on my hands, then I went rough a depression mode because I felt when I got red shirted I felt like my world was so over because that’s all I ever cared about (playing basketball, friends and family) nothing else ever mattered to me until this year. This freshman year I found some new friends and I made a few enemies overall this year was a great experience and I would not change it for anything in this world.

I HAte you But i Love You by: Beaver Nash

I wrote my rhetorical analysis paper on love vs. Hate and how it is possible to love someone and hate them at the same time. From personal experiences I know for a fact that it is possible to love and hate someone at the same time. In my last relationship I got my heart broken I felt like into a thousand pieces and even though he cheated, got another pregnant, went to jail, choked me, and more I still loved him but hated him with every bone in my body. That’s why I truly like this poem i hate you, but i love you. In this poem i hate you, but i love you Beaver Nash begins to pour out her hearts true feelings by saying “I hate you, but I love you I can never let you go no matter what you put me through you always feel like home”, which means that her emotions are taking a toll on her and she is no were confused she knows exactly what she means without him it wouldn’t be right but yet her world will crash with that person is her telling her love side and the fact that the person has put her through a lot to the act that she hates them brings out the hate side. This poem backs up my definition of love and hate very clearly.

Analysis of "Hate that I Love You"

I chose the song underneath this post Hate that I Love You to analyze in my rhetorical analysis paper. I feel that this song is a battle between love and hate but yet. I can't stand how much I need you (can't stand how much I need you) And I hate how much I love you boy (Rhianna) thins line in this song is so contradicting to most people, the most frequent questions are “why do you need him if you hate him?”, “how do you hate that you love him, but you need him?” and some others similar to those. But the answer is in the song she is saying that the things he does for her and the way he makes her feel make her love him even though he can do some messed up things that hurt her, she is going to look over it and hate him in mind but she loves him with her whole heart. So I ask the question again does love and hate walk hand in hand or its no were possible because they are exact opposites?

"I HAte That i love you" Rhianna

That?s how much I love you

That?s how much I need you

And I can?t stand ya

Most everything you do make me wanna smile

Can I not like it for a while?

No, but you won?t let me

You upset me, girl, and then you kiss my lips

All of a sudden I forget that I was upset

Can?t remember what you did

But I hate it

You know exactly what to do

So that I can?t stay mad at you

For too long, that?s wrong

But, I hate it

You know exactly how to touch

So that I don?t wanna fuss and fight no more

Said, I despise that I adore you

And I hate how much I love you, boy

I can?t stand how much I need you

And I hate how much I love you, boy

But I just can?t let you go

And I hate that I love you so

And you completely know the power that you have

The only one that makes me laugh

Sad and it?s not fair how you take advantage of the fact

That I love you beyond the reason why

And it just ain?t right

And I hate how much I love you, girl

I can?t stand how much I need you

And I hate how much I love you, girl

But I just can?t let you go

But I hate that I love you so

One of these days, maybe your magic won?t affect me

And your kiss won?t make me weak

But no one in this world knows me the way you know me

So you?ll probably always have a spell on me, yay

That?s how much I love you

That's how much I need you

That?s how much I love you

That?s how much I need you

And I hate that I love you so

And I hate how much I love you, boy

I can?t stand how much I need you

And I hate how much I love you, girl

But I just can?t let you go

But I hate that I love you so

And I hate that I love you so, so

Icon (Ashlety Bradshaw)

                                                                                     sociologycompass.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/...

As I was reading Ashley Bradshaw’s blog about her rhetorical analysis word “icon” I began to think about what I think an Icon is. So I looked up the definition and it said “a picture, image, or other representation” (Dictionary.com), do we as people understand this definition? So I came up with my personal definition which was somebody that shows good characteristics, basically a good role model. I look at T.V. every day and I see the entertainers and I wonder to myself why are they called icons. What are they representing, is it a good representation or what? Then I realized that a icon can be a person good or bad, I came up with this assumption because I see the entertainers do drugs, beat their girlfriends, display bad things to children. Is that okay for an icon? “Celebrity icons and how we as people place them up on this abstract pedestal of perfection. Just because they entertain, or play sports or are even the president, we give them this huge responsibility of being a role model.” (Ashley Bradshaw). When I read this it disturbed me because when they start talking to children and putting their lives on TV. They gave themselves the responsibility of being a role model and especially the President.

Feelings Toward Compisition 132

                                                                            tribechick.mlblogs.com/thumbs%20up%20happy%20...

I have enjoyed this composition class for the most part, even though I have it on long days and I am very tired and do not care to be there. Yet it is very informative and helpful. I considered myself an “ok” which means not good but not too bad I guess I would say, but this class has helped me better my writing and move a step forward to being a good writer. The different papers we have written in this class have taught me something in a different way besides writing. The topics we chose or Professor Barry chose for us had meaning to them, it wasn’t just a writing assignment it was something learned about something else as well. For example when we were assigned the technology assignment I learned more about what technology can do for us as people and also how technology has hindered us as a people. Professor Barry I feel is a great professor and I love her teaching style it is so open and fun in its own way.

Introduction to Rhetorical Analysis

Love: a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person (dictionary.com). Hate: to dislike intensely or passionately; feel extreme aversion for or extreme hostility toward; detest: to hate the enemy; to hate bigotry. (dictionary.com). to me these words could be the total opposite of one another, and then on the other hand I feel like they can go hand in hand. Love to me means to have a strong attachment with passion for another person. Then there is hate, I think hate means to strongly dislike someone with a passion. So as I evaluate these terms and expressions such as “I hate that I love you”, “there is a thin line between love and hate”, “why do I love you so much, but I hate you?”, “I’m stuck in a love hate situation” and more. I wonder how these two are compatible in a situation and then I think back on my life when I was in a relationship with this certain person they broke my heart but yet I loved them even though and I also hated them for hurting me so deeply and we even stayed in the relationship so I realize there is a thin line between passion for love and passion for hate.

IS it Love?

                                                                                  whoiskevin.files.wordpress.com/2009/12/love-w...
When a woman is being abused in her home by her spouse? I personally do not think that is love, because if you truly love someone you would not abuse them or anything else to hurt them. Being cheated on? I think that people make mistakes and that just because someone is cheating does not mean that they do not love the person they cheated on it may have been a mistake or caught in the moment for some odd reason. Being controlled? When your spouse or just your boyfriend or girlfriend feels that they have to control everything that you do is when it is going too far, that’s not love to me because having a say so in a relationship is part of loving one another. Love can be a lot of things, but love is not a lot of things as well. Some relationships I think should start from the beginning and see whether it is love or lust or just putting up with the other because of what they can do for you or because they are the cutest thing to you.

Hate!!!

                                                                             feelwww.mediabistro.com/fishbowlDC/original/hate.jpg
Hate- (to dislike intensely or passionately;  extreme aversion for or extreme hostility toward; detest: to hate the enemy; to hate bigotry). This is dictionary. Com definition of what hate is. I feel that hate has a lot to do with passion and it is not necessarily the opposite of love. Hate is a strong word that people throw around and don’t realize that it hu8rts for someone to hear that. Hate to me is a state of mind that people get when they have been hurt or have been through rough times and don’t feel like they can trust any one at that moment. I may say that I hate certain people but it’s only because I felt like they have done something to me to hurt me. This word to me is a motivational word because it just boost hostility that one person may have for another one. So I guess my next question would be is it ok for people to hate people even though hate can be temporary? So I feel like people murder people because they hate them at that moment and wind up making mistakes.

Love??

www.romanticjoys.com/.../love_clipart_03.gif

What is love? Everyone has their different opinion on what love is. Love, to me means to have a strong attachment with passion for another person or another thing. Love is a word that people throw around and don’t necessarily know the meaning or know what that comment or term actually specifies. Love is one of the words I chose to write about in my rhetorical analysis because of my experience with love and I feel like every one dose not really know what love truly means. Some people say actions speak louder than words, but what actions show that you love something or someone? So I asked my parents what love meant to them, my mom said an unconditional feeling you have for a person that will never change. Then my dad responded “ whatever your mom just said”, I laughed because they have been together almost 20 years and now they are separated, is it love or did she just love him and he wasn’t really sure. I sometimes wonder do men know what love is are they emotionally challenged? LOVE? What is your definition?

"Digital Nation and Technology"

www.linuxwallpapers.org/mac/mac_5.jpg

I watched the documentary called "Digital Nation". in watching this documentary I was noticing how people dont realize that they spend to much time on the internet and do not pay attention to what is going on around them. In this documentary it started off with how people are starting to notice that the world is being distracted by computers and any devices that allow access to the internet. One mom noticed that her entire family was in the same house and even sitting in the same room and each and every one of them was in there own world thanks to the internet activity. This documentary was helpful to me in writting my autobiography paper because it gave scientific facts about what they believe technology was doing to the brain. Even though it doesnt seem like the internet is technology it is and this technology is not really helping us and not really hurting us either.

Technology

Technology is changing every day, by changing i mean advancing. when i was a little younger I remember my mom and dad bought our first computer. Our first computer was more slower than the computer we have now. the computer we have now has a much smaller screen but the screen is more effective and more up to date with technology. Tour computer now has a wireless network, faster internet, and more capabilities.  technology has advanced more than we think. Technology is better now then it was when i was younger. having technology has helped us in a lot of ways and it also has hurt us in some others. The ways its hurting us as people is the fact that it made us lazier and brung us to the point to where we nee computers to think or even function.

LEadership

edea360.files.wordpress.com/.../leadership.jpg
The first couple of days of class we discussed leadership abilities. i think to be a leader you be able to follow before you can lead. Also a leader should have strong characteristic, such as great communicative skills, willing to set your self aside for other people, and learn that the group that's following you is counting on you. Basically being a leader is a role model and a leader should display good habits and not bad habits. A leader can they only think be bad and that's only because they only think about themselves and don't really care what happens to other people, that's an example of a bad leader.
